Contest Brief

We are presently looking for an illustrator to help us give life to our card game. This contest is a tryout to find the perfect match.

Unicorn Startup Game is a game about startups. Have you ever wondered how it feels to become the next Mark Zuckerberg and fund, manage, deliver the next big thing?

The next one million dollar business is waiting for you! It may be the Gramma Scheduler, the Electronic Diaper or the Doggy Drone Walker. Manage your business wisely and win the game!

We just finished test running the game and are now looking for someone to produce a couple of card illustrations as well as some visuals for our Kickstarter campaign.

For this contest, we are asking for an illustration of one of the game’s startups: the Doggy Drone Walker. It’s a drone that walks the dog while you relax at home. Here are some ideas to guide you:

You will find attached an example of the fun and cartoonish design we are looking for our game. The initial reaction should be laughter.

If your illustration is selected, we will contact you to start designing other cards as well as visuals needed for the Kickstarter page. The Kickstarter campaign will provide additional funding necessary to design the entire game (+140 cards).

Okay, I submitted a new entry. The style isn't like anything I did before. Machines are not my strong suit. I do think it's more interesting than my last entry, which, looking at it now, is a bit boring looking anyway.
