Contest Brief

I am a Tech Start Up - we developed some technology to track mental health and wellbeing - we are developing a template for children in schools to 'check in' to see how they are feeling when they start their day.

I need to develop a character (emoji style) that will show a range of emotions and will animate from one emotion to another. e.g. tired through to awake, angry through to calm. As the character animates you will see 5 different facial expressions as it moves from, for example, Very tired, less tired, neutral, somewhat awake, very awake.

The sheet attached gives the range of emotions required.

They need to fit inside a circle of diameter 340px, so perhaps 300x300px images would be good.

    #25 is just a sample face with some emotions as steps in png and gif animation for you. It was the lacks the time to make and show the other emotions I know the contest goes to pending time, however, I can make the rest and other faces during this pending time if you wish

      Thanks Maryam - unfortunately currently your example is gender specific - need a character that is neither male or female - and would need to see at least one example that shows the transition from on elf the 8 emotional ranges in the list in my brief.

    Hi All - thanks for your entries - many of you have posted just one face... if you read the instructions again I need to sees the fasces transition from one emotion to another... so I am looking for people to show me their skills at creating emotional traditions over a series of faces... there are 8 emotional ranges - each range will require 5-10 transitions e.g. Tired - Awake... there would be 5 or 10 (I haven't decided yet) faces with each emotional transition... Very tired / tired / neutral / awake / very awake ... this is would be 5 faces transitioning from tired to awake... is this clear?

    Do you want a character?
    Or do you want "just" animations like a movie in mp4?

      Hi Jorge C. I need the rights to use the character (but not exclusively) into perpetuity for a child's questionnaire with no added costs once I pay you to create all the emotional ranges I am asking for should you be successful... hope that helps.

    Right. Another thing: how long/second duration in each expression?
    An animation using the 5 requests, should it last how long? Or this should run normal as a GIF?

      Hi Jorge C. My tech guy said that we might want to see 5 or 10 faces per emotional range i.e. tired to awake - and we would want both static 5 or 10 images and as a 100 second animation - hope this helps

    Hi Please keep in mind that the faces need to be able to transition smoothly through 5 states e.g. as an example tired to awake... vert tired, tired, neutral, awake, very awake... another example hungry to full... very hungry, hungry, neutral, full, very full... another example angry to calm... very angry (rage), angry, neutral, calm, very calm... also do not need whole body... just the face to see emotions clearly... thanks everyone.
