- Status: Closed
- Prize: £40

- Winner: krishnavamsi2001
Contest Brief
A 30 seconds long 3D animation is required to show a proposal for a memorial for the COVID-19 victims in the context of nature and cemetery in various parts of the world.
The animation will be used to promote the project for funding.
Note:
Please note that I don't want you to animate the images/montages provided.
I want you to create a 3D animation showing this memorial in different context around the world as I have noted on the storyboard.
You will need to build a 3D model of the different context and environment (as described in the storyboard), place the monument in there (3D model provided), then render and animate it by moving around the camera/panning, showing wind, snow, clouds moving, fog ...etc. as described in the storyboard. You will need to render all this to high quality.
The whole animation does not need to be longer than 30 seconds and it does not need any credits, I can add the credits later myself. More context photos for Tallriken and St Pauli in Sweden is available on request.
Output: 3D visualised animation rendered
Format: Video (AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG)
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
About the project:
The memorial is designed in response to the number of people who have lost their lives to the pandemic.
A mirrored pillar of stainless steel stands at an average human height representing the life that is lost, but not forgotten,
and the life that remains, but should face the tragedy. https://fatimagrand.com/projects/empathy
A one to one prototype of the memorial will be exhibited in Sweden with the aim to exhibit it around the world.
The animation will help promote the scheme for receiving funds and supporters.
The chosen animator will be credited in all the publicity materials.

Employer Feedback
““Krishna was very professional and intuitive on this project. When bidding for my competition, he was the only animator who actually provided a test animation of the scenes I wanted which made me want to hire him immediately. He always made sure that I was happy with the end result and was proactive in communicating. Despite current being a student, he delivered the project well and we worked beyond the original competition entry. I recommend Krishna 100%” Fatima Grand”
