Sand Timer – Packaging brief
BRAND – SENSORY SENSATIONS

We need a very attractive box design for an educational item. This item is sold in specialty educational retailers, toy stores and office supplies companies.
We are producing a range of 6 x Sand timers of different durations.
Each one of the 6 items in the range is the same size (16X8CM APPROX) but there is a mixture of colours as follows.
1 minute- purple
2 minute - red
3 minute - blue
5 minute - green
10 minute - yellow
15 minute - black
We intend to use the same box for all 6 timers but we need to incorporate a way to denote the item inside. This could probably be done via a check box system.
The box includes 2 cut out ‘windows” so that you can see the item inside.
We would like to incorporate our logo into the design along with a high quality image of the items.
HOW IS this item USED?
This item is a sand timer and is used for many purposes;
Sand timers can be used during games, tests, challenges and for timing experiments.
Sand Timers provide a clear visual representation of time.
Sand Timers are used as an aid to help kids understand the complex concept of time.
They are a great way for kids to “see” time
Great for games where passing of time is important
Good for classroom management
They can help with concentration and are perfect for behaviour management. Use for time outs for young kids that can’t tell the time.

    please note that we are looking for a single design to use for all of the sand timers therefore there should not be any reference to 1 minute 2 minute etc in the design. we will use a check box system to denote which item is inside.

    The Sand timer Image angle is not right, it should have been taken from the front. The image you have provided ha an isometric top angle which is no suitable for packaging deisng.
