Contest Brief

I need a logo for my upcoming project named The Spoken Stories.

The theme: the project is related to spoken poetry and open mic, but the catch here is that all the poems would be of less than a minute. So it's like telling a story in a minute.

What I am looking for?
A very minimal design that looks professional and makes a name of the brand.

Colours?
Surprise me.

The idea I had in mind:
Maybe, a mic around the text or something?

Please avoid using vector images (of mic or anything) from the internet. Looking for something original and illustrated from scratch.
