Contest Brief

We are a small, Norwegian business consultant company (2 experienced guys), working with management training, enterprise architecture, strategy management, digitalization etc. The company is nemed Effecto Rådgivere AS. The name is based on the latin term Effectus, which means doing, execution, performance, effect, result. The Norwegian term "rådgivere" means "advisors". We like to think we are bold, professional and flexible.
At the moment we are about to update our website (we just startet working together, and one of us has run the Effecto company earlier). This process is going well, but we need someone to make a new logo and also an icon (square) for facebook etc.

When picking the winner, we will need to see how the solution will work for
- 2D
- dark and white background
- used in black&white (greytones) in a document
- menuline on a classic website
- the facebook-profile
- the web-adress in the browser
- On the office- wall

consider logo on white & dark background, not on mockups which are provided by designer, they are photoshop tricks,
& most of them are copied from internet, final file is submitted by any designer is on plane background.
Final logo looks very diffrent from mockups.Thank u.
The logo pasted on shining walls are from shutterstock & other website, we cannot find links so they hide under mockups.

Hi, beware of these "3D" designs. Those are just a muckup, like this https://www.lwshohagh.com/3d-logo-mockup-free/

They are just trying to trick you. You will be get the design in 2d with plain background. These mockups just free for presentation not sale it have a licence.

1. Name of the company (the inscription in the logo)
2. Type of activity of the company (general information about the company, its main activities)
3. Choose a way to present your logo:
· Sign + inscription of the name of the company (product)
· Unsigned (only the name written in an interesting font)
4. Stylistics (in what style the logo should be designed: conservative, modern, static, dynamic, other)
4. Graphic trademark (what terms, objects, associations should correspond with it)
5. Do you have a slogan. If yes, place it on the logo.
6. Color solution (which color combinations will be acceptable / unacceptable. Are there any restrictions on the number of colors)
7. Do you have your own vision of the logo (list the images, metaphors that you see as the graphic design of the logo)
8. What sensations or messages should the logo convey to the person who looks at it.
9. Landmarks (which logos do you like and why. It is advisable to provide links and graphic examples)
