Contest Brief

!!!!!!!! UP-DATE: Dear Freelancers! I have doubled the reward for the contest, now it's USD 100. But I'd ask you to do something additional, please send your drafts for the Logo AND illustrate our press release which you find attached already putting your logo on it! If possible also a picture for instagram with a slogan and your logo. I did the up grade 'cause I wanted to see how the logo looks like in different occasions, we will need it for the bags (some of you already sent great leather prints!) but also for press communications and for instagram. We will feature the winner on instagram (if he/she wants to) as we did with our fashion designer. You can choose a text from your press release for the instagram pic. Thank you !!!!!!!

We're currently creating a new luxury accessories brand. We specialize on leather handbags. We are searching for a sober, stylish, elegant, classy logo that reflect's the brand's image. If the logo is chosen, further cooperation is possible (long term, since we will constantly need graphic designers).

    GUYS!!!! I will rate several additional drafts from the same designers that all had 5 stars with 4 stars now, that has nothing to do with your work. I'm just doing that so I can see my favorites next each other. I will leave just one draft and the press communication with 4 stars. so we can compare the best logos easily. We are almost reaching the end of our contest and we have a couple of really really amazing drafts.

      o sea se nota de una que viene de alguien q sabe y q se hizo el trabajo de leer bien la info que pusimos a disposición. como dije en los comentarios, me encantaría ver mas, propongo que primero sigamos trabajando el logo, de pronto hay variaciones u otras ideas que podamos considerar tmb y una vez que hayamos decididos cual es la propuesta tuya que mas nos gusta, miramos lo del comunicado de prensa que las otras dos nenas que en este momento tengo en mis top tres tmb ya mandaron. hemos incluido el comunicado de prensa y una foto para instagram en el concurso porque queríamos precisamente ver si podemos conocer a un disen*ador a quien podamos mandar en el futuro nuestros textos y nos hace algo chevere para la prensa, para la pagina web, publicidad o lo que sea. alguien q nos entienda y con quien nos conectamos de una. tuvimos la gran suerte de conocer por aca a un par de personas que podrían ser, y debo decir estas definitivamente en mis top 3 :)

    since we are looking for someone we can work together with on a long term basis we also included the press release and the instagram pic in the contest. we are investing a lot of time in the contest and asking for changes constantly since we would like to find a designer who understands our brand and to whom we can send word files in the future without much explanation. we need the press release to look very appealing, not like a business letter. we would like you to use prints and similar for the press release. please avoid eyes,faces and fingernails, we would prefer orchids, flowers, just color prints and similar. in a nutshell something that can be part of our future corporate identity.

    Have a look at the 4 and 5 star ratings, that's already pretty close to what we are searching for. We are actively participating here, helping to guide designers we feel understand our brand the most to improve the draft. our course totally new ideas are always welcome, however please keep in mind that we will sell expensive handbags, the logo can be juvenile but has to be still serious.
