Contest Brief

We're looking for a new, original logo design based on a rough draft that we already have. The draft was made through Canva but it's important that we have something completely original as we are looking to trademark it. We would like it to be at least loosely based on the design we have, but are open to other ideas. It should also be inspired by our mission statement:
Mission Statement
"Our purpose is to define a standard of excellence in English language teaching through practical training, curriculum consulting and organizational development. We believe that effective, communicative language teaching is essential in empowering our students to achieve their language goals. "
The company name is TEFL Horizons.

    Many interesting submissions here--the ones that are the best fit so far have incorporated the idea of a compass and horizon. we are learning towards more blues and greens than orange.

      Yes client,i agree with Sher A. I saw many designers used only the boring 3D mockup that gives a false look of the actual logo,making it look better.I have posted my logo in a flat version and on a paper mockup.
