Contest Brief

As the project name already tells you, "Solid Mad" will be a new brand for sportswear and sportsgear and we are searching for a logo now to represent what "Solid Mad" should stand for.


About "Solid Mad" Products:

We plan to offer robust and solid sportsware and sportsgear produced under fair conditions for beginners and semi-professionals . That starts from running and cycling shirts, jackets, shorts and shoes and ends wherever our way will lead us in the sports world.


About "Solid Mad" Feelings:

We thought about what feelings our brand should represent and what we want "Solid Mad" to stand for.

Here are some words we came up with so far:

It's all about ....
..... getting people out of their comfort zones and being more active with sports or similar activities of any kind.
..... getting your ass up despite what your inner voices tell you.
..... ignoring the naysayers, get up, start and follow your own way.
..... Be whatever you want to be, despite anybody tells you that you're crazy, no you're just solid mad.
..... getting more confidence.
..... "Define yourself, create yourself, be yourself."
..... "I'm not crazy, i'm just solid mad."
..... "Solid Mad" - unstoppable crazy in a very positive way.


About "Solid Mad" Logo Colors:

We chose the following two colors as our absolute favorites:
* Dark Red - RGB #B20028
* Black, just pure Black


About "Solid Mad" File Formats:
--------------------------------------------------------------
* Illustrator
* SVG
* Inkscape (if possible)


About "Solid Mad" Logo Recommendations:
---------------------------------------------------------------
* Should include an iconic representation like most of the very well known and established sports brands have.



About "Solid Mad" Logo Restrictions:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. The Logo should look great in single color too. For printing black and white or for postmarks etc.

2. We've attached a sample file of an existing brand with the name "!solid". We agreed with the owner that our logo should look as different as possible to avoid any confusion.

3. DO NOT USE THE INITIALS "SM" AS PART OF THE LOGO as it could be misspelled in a not so advantageous way.
