Logodesign Pirates In Black Band

Contest Brief

We are the Pirates In Black, and we play Heavy Metal Rock. We are going to release our first CD soon. Now we need to have our Logo to look more professional. We will need it for the CD and for other merchandising activities, eg. t-shirts.

The logo is a pirate skull with two crossed swords. The logo shall not be severely changed. Especially the swords have to look like they look now to avoid legal conflicts with other trade marks. What we are thinking about ist to make the logo look more like it is on a waving flag. Or - as another option - to be embedded in flames or having flames coming out of the eyes or something like this. Other suggestions are welcome, too.

Since we want to print it on t-shirts the logo should not contain too many colours. Maybe it is possible to reduce the colours to black, white and on other colour (red?).

I will add a JPG-file containing the logo and the font. The font is called "PR Celtic Narrow" and came with the Photoshop CS2 Suite.

      Black in the back ( -> transparent), white for the logo, maybe one additional color (red?). To reduze printing costs.
