Contest Brief

This is the first of many package designs we need to work on. This contest will require the creation of a new label for our Texas Pop Rockets. This is a simple, small package to work on.

Attached is an AI file that contains the current label, some examples of how the labels are used, and our logo. The warning labels need to be recreated but cannot be changed and must be present for the new design.

We are looking to award a contest entry designed by someone who can continue to design other packages. We have a design goal in mind. Its hard to put this goal into words so I will do my best to show you what we are looking for. Here are some examples of artwork we like. The first two links will take you to the companies we think have the best packaging. These will be your inspiration.

These 3 similar comic style cliparts represent a big part of what we are looking for. We want designs that are bright, colorful, exciting, fun, eye catching, etc... We like the big, bold font that stands out.

Honest feedback... 1, 2, and 3 are the type of designs I am not looking for. Each entry is just a mix match of clip arts and backgrounds. For example #3 , the rockets have a 3D design mixed with "flat" graphics, and mix matched text. The look of each element is different. There is no cohesive design.

  If the right design is submitted, the project will be awarded but I cannot guarantee the contest. I risk loosing out if no acceptable work is submitted.
