Contest Brief

The Education Partner Symposium is a small conference hosted by the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (it will take place in the same venue as our annual National Citizenship and Immigration Conference).

The Symposium will feature distinguished speakers from the immigration, international education, and government sectors. Its aim is to provide a sharp focus on the Canadian international education sector, one that will foster conversations aimed at improving the businesses of Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) with respect to international students.

(FYI: the Symposium is based on one of our initiatives, called the Education Partner Program, which acts as a bridge between CAPIC members and educational institutions. RCICs would be able to send eligible international students to these institutions and get the commission.)

For more details on the Symposium, visit the NCIC website here: http://www.ncic-cnci.ca/#anchor35

Attached is an FAQ on the EPP and on the EPS. We need a nice logo for the latter. Please try to avoid anything overtly educational (e.g. mortar board, pencil and apple, etc.) as its not strictly a conference on education as such.

Please see below for the required logo specs:

Format:
.ai
.eps
.png
.pdf

Size:
The narrow side should be atleast 1500-2000pixels

Horizontal Resolution: 72 dpi
Vertical Resolution: 72 dpi

The pen should look like an actual pen, and should be placed on the right. Please also tile it slightly to the right to imitate what it looks like when someone's holding it.

The winner of this prize will be able to put add a nice pen design to #76 . The pen should stand next to the "E" in Education and should complete the left line.

If #80 is supposed to be a pen signing a line, I like that idea. But please make the pen look more like a pen.

For clarity: NO "EPS" anywhere. Do not put a mortar board. Just have the "Education Partner Symposium" text as in #26 and #55 and a very minimal extra piece of design.

Actually, scratch the globe. I like the idea of having just "Education Partner Symposium" as in designs #26 and #55, with a light design touch added to make it less bland. Some ideas: a silhouette of a row of flags underneath, or something that implies connecting people from all over the world. ]

Instead of the circle with "EPS" inside, try a silhouette of a globe with connections, or something similar.

Please omit the mortar board. There's no need for the letters "EPS" in the centre circle, and try placing a set of flag above the circle.
