Contest Brief

I'm starting a publication on Medium for paying members called "The Crypto Times." (Reference to The New York Times). It is a daily newspaper, commenting on what happens in the space of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. I need a logo that looks minimalistic, elegant, and professional.

The logo should consist of an icon, which can be used as a favicon for a website, in banners, etc. Can include the letters "CT" too, but doesn't have to. The name "The Crypto Times" should be in an elegant font, potentially something curvy, or that looks like it's handwritten.

The color pairing I used is #444444 for the background and #FFC000 for the font, but feel free to experiment with other colors - if you can somehow use a yellow-based color, or something green-ish, whatever represents or reminds the reader of currency/money, that'd be good too.

Potential images to combine: a newspaper, a coin, blockchain, cryptographic letters, digital strings of numbers, etc. Use whatever you like.
