Contest Brief

I have a guitar lesson site, Dave's Guitar Planet. At the top of the site I have the name in a banner, plus a 'saturn' style planet drawing with the name of the site in the 'rings' around the planet. I made this myself many years ago and it's not very good. I'd like someone to re-draw it (by hand, I think), so it looks more professional. You can see the planet logo at the top of the current site, below. And it's also at the top of the new Wordpress site I'm developing (below that). As you can also see from my banner, I like a sort of '50s/retro style...or maybe a bit funky/simple/Americana/country?

    Thanks so much to everyone who entered the contest! It's incredible that so many people from all over the world participated. It was difficult to choose just one. The one I chose is bold and simple. Some reasons for rejecting several: 1) just using clipart, 2) too busy/complicated, 3) font too feminine, 4) I think two misspelled my name (!)
