  i think you should type every category you wrote on your description in shutterstock, freepik, google images and all of these stock websites and just go through them so when you see a copy design you could recognize it. and i think we designers could help too by pointing them out.

     Wonderful. Thank you so much. Can you please advise me what the rules are. For example, One designer has found a really nice lion art piece and is using it in a design however I googled it and found it straight away. If he makes subtle changes is it still considered a copy write?

     there is a big difference between using any random image from google and using a FREE stock which is completely legal. and also there is a huge difference between using a stock image as a part of your design and copy paste it without any simple change. I hope u understand that Contest Holder.

     yeah.. this is have much wich copy paste from google or internet.. not original drawing design.. it will be have problem in future about copyright. you must careful for choosen the winner...

  just an advice : i kindly suggest you not to use images of god's ..eg : like krishna / ganseha / or shiva ... because in our hindu culture it is considered to be disrespectful since will be stepping on them .... just a little advice i thought i should tell ... you could still go ahead if it does'nt matter to you .. :)
