This contest is an audition for me to identify someone that I can work with to illustrate a comic book like portion of the book that I am writing. I am providing an example in the attached PDF to give you some general idea about the quality of comic book illustration that I'm looking for. I am writing a book that has approximately 12 to 14 chapters in each chapter will have a comic book introduction to the introduce the story that will be discussed in the chapter. Each of these chapter illustrations will be four pages with 4 to 6 panels per page of illustration and, like a comic book, will tell the story of the "workplace hero" which is the main character in the comic introduction. I am looking for the quality of your ability to illustrate as well as your creativity in coming up with what the "workplace hero" would look like. The "workplace hero" character would represent a person in a business setting that has superpowers associated with a work environment. For example, the comic hero character might have an amazing ability to focus on things which helps them in the workplace.

For this contest, I am looking for you to submit a single page illustration with four comic panels on it that tells a small story. If you are chosen to be the illustrator for this project we will work together on the specifics of what the character will ultimately look like as well as what story we would telling in each comic introduction.

Your availability and ability to communicate in English will be very important in this project is the will be quite a bit of back-and-forth interaction between us to complete the project over time.

" I am looking for you to submit a single page illustration with four comic panels on it that tells a small story." How does the winning entry do that? Its a pinup with no panels and no story. Just a superman looking dude breaking through a wall. I could have done that with far less grief than what I actually submitted.

Does it have to be realistic as in the example you have provided, or can we draw caricature images?

Please give atleast details of a few panels so I can try and create a realistic visual for you.

Also I suspect that just 150 USD is a bit low for something as detailed and time consuming as this. Hope you reconsider.
