I'm playing around with the Metronic Theme (Keenthemes) and looking to have PHP/MySQL functionality added to the calendar (which uses FullCalendar) page. Essentially, Add/Delete/Edit so that events can be written/read from the database. Everything exists for demo purposes currently, there is just no connection to a database.

I am experiencing slow performance with my MySQL database and require expert help to diagnose and rectify it.
