I have installed a swoopo clone (the one is sailing around the web that is cakephp based), ... well. I get it run almost 100%, only thing that i cannot do is get the bidding clocks to work... the hole site seems freeced... Hi, I have a video chat script that I want altered so on the performers page there is a bidding system in place, like Swoopo, where there is an auction title, choice to end at a certain date/time and members who sign up to my site can place real-time bids, follow the auction and winner gets notification. ...have a swoopo clone setup. It has a few small errors, that need put right. The first error (if you look at ) is that when a user clicks the 'bid' button everything updates in real time apart from the price increase.. The price increases, but the user has to refresh their browser. I want it to refresh in live time with the other elements. Also, for some reason, our hosting server is rejecting smtp and causing our user registration emails to not be sent out. When we hosted it on godaddy, the emails went out no problem, but godaddy does not support 1 minute crons... so we moved to a server that supports 1 minute crons and it doesn't support the smtp email, only pop3 and the script does not support pop3 mail sending. The problem is that when someone hits 'bid' button, the price should increase by the preset increment. However, this does not auto update... the other elements do, but the price does not increase unless the user refreshes their browser. also can you adjust our config file so the people can register. as the emails are not sending out, and we think it is a settings problem. It worked ok on our other server, but this server it is not working. pricewise... keep it real please :)
