The task is to analyze Alex Garland´s the Beach. 3 pages (1200 words) of text with the font Times New Roman size 12.
To ease the the research around the book i've bought a PDF-file from Bookrags where the book is already analyzed. This should be supplemented by additional information around the book from internet. Plagiarism is forbidden, every sentence should be rewritten in a personal way.
The PDF file contains:
Plot Summary
Chapters
Characters
Objects/Places
Themes
Style
Quotes
- The analysis should be written in a formal and in a advanced level of English.
Task: You should find a thesis of the book and the argue for and against it, the arguments should be concretized by quotations. An interesting beginning and well summarized conclusion.
Part 1: The Beginning
Start with this one part 2 and 3 is finished. After everything is written down, you write the beginning. Here you put your thesis statement, what the essay will go into and an above all interesting start. Here are some specific pointers:
Use more colorful and creative language:
Use a maximum of three rhetorical questions throughout.
Part 2: The Body
So... what should you put into a paragraph?
Well, I would use these two simple guidelines:
One point per paragraph
About one quote per point
So each paragraph will reflect something that you find interesting. Stick to that one thing.
A couple of specific hints and pointers:
Do not write what you thought of the novel or task.
Do not talk directly to the reader.
Do not summarize too much.
Do not give a history lesson on the novel's background or author background.
Do not use contractions (Don't, let's etc).
Try to leave yourself (i.e "I") out of the essay.
Don't write "I will now write about my second point..." or similar
Part 3: Conclusion
Here are some specific pointers:
Don't thank the reader.
You can write something in the style of "This essay has shown that..."
You can also finish with something in the style of "However, the final and ultimate judgment of Atticus remains to be discovered"
You don't have to make it very long.
- I will aslo attach earlier work who in this case works as a template of how the work might look like. But also another book analysis of the book The Beach, this for inspiration and information.

Interesting read!. Thanks for sharing the excerpts. You will get the best work output from me. I have a few clarifying questions:
1.0 When is this due? Date and time
2.0 What level is this for? College, High School etc?
I will try and look for the original book in the local library, but we may perhaps not have time to read and respond.
