Computer Audit Application

High-Level Description: I am looking for a web-based service that will perform a fast and detailed scan operation on that machine to retrieve hardware configuration and installed software information about that machine. This information will be uploaded to a site and written into a common format (Excel / XML). The application needs to gather the information without installing any client side program, needs to run irrespective of the user's authentication level on the machine in use and retrieve information about that machine irrespective of operating system (NT4/W2K/XP/2003/VISTA). The intended process is that the user would be sent an email linking to the developed site and when reaching the site would either select an 'approve' button on the site or see a progress bar / notification that informs them that the process is in progress or has completed. Background: My business helps other companies achieve cost savings by assessing their purchasing of goods and services, then by working with current suppliers and alternative suppliers, identifying methods to supply those goods and services more cost effectively in the future. This application will be used to profile IT hardware & software at a particular client site. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform test
