Destination Express is an established Transportation Management Company. We specialize in providing transportation from various airports to hotels in conjunction with meetings and conventions across the country. We are needing to modify an existing system to allow a more simplified process for the creation of and management of "sites" used for each client. This is an active system with users and existing business. This is a transactional website. In our existing environment, we are unable to create sites quick enough for our customers. We also feel we are loosing important data due to the existing coding. We allowed the system and programming to get out of hand and now need to take it back down to its simplified form. There is a database involved and a "booking" engine and a booking engine that resides on top of it. The original coding has been done in modules.....meaning we have the ability to strip away the unused modules to get it back to its basic transportation format. We create a unique site for each client. i.e., [login to view URL] Clients customers come to the site with to "their" site and see their company/conference logo....and then proceed to book. I am completely open to providing additional information to individuals who feel this project may interest them. At this time the site collects necessary travel data (flight information) which is entered by the user. They then proceed to transportation options and purchase their transfers. 1. Client provides contact information. 2. Client sees the transfer options, which include specific ranges of transfer times and dates, as well as one or two hotel options. This also includes a set price. 3. If clients like the options, they provide airline flight data manually. Clients then purchase. I will be happy to provide more detail and show life booking sites as well as source code.. Site is presently housed on RackSpace.
