I have experience with search engine optimization and using key words in my writing that will show up in common search engines. I worked on marketing products for a machine company. The best way to get more customers was to be sure the products showed up with a variety of key words. In my work with that company, I used a variety of metals (aluminum, steel, copper) that would show up in common search engines. If they were looking for a product made of copper, the correct page would come up, but I would also link to other materials on the "copper" page to be sure they would have access to other products. I also made the product descriptions elaborate so that their components (bolts, screws, welded, cylindrical, etc) would also show up in search engines.
The reason that I am good at writing is because I am a special education teacher and communicate through e-mail on a daily basis to a variety of people (co-workers, parents, and students.) I am able to edit my writing to make the content clear for any individual. I am also fluent in American Sign Language. ASL uses the same sign for words with similar meanings; for example, the sign for "pretty" is also the sign for "beautiful," "stunning," "gorgeous," etc. In my job, I need to be a walking thesaurus. Because that's how I think, I am able to write content quickly using a variety of synonyms.
