Write three essays (Questions will be given) Each of the essays will be composed of a minimum of 2000 words and a maximum of 2500 words in the body of the paper. The word count does not include the full text of the essay question or the bibliography/reference list/works cited list. Cite sources in a formal and consistent style using the 6th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) style guide. Note that citation style rules apply both to the body of a paper and the reference list at the end of a paper. Choose a style that uses a reference list at the end, not footnotes or end notes. • Each source referenced in text must match one full citation in the reference list. Multiple text references to the same source must all match the same single full citation. • Each full citation in the reference list must appear at least once in a text reference. • In text references, watch transitions from one source to another, including from a published source to your own opinion. It is wise to put the author's name at the beginning of the sentence to clarify that this is a new source. • Follow the style manual on when and how to cite page numbers. Note that for websites/webpages, you may be advised not to cite page numbers because the number of pages in hardcopy depends on the printer. APA style requires page numbers only in references for direct quotations. When in doubt, cite the page number. • Follow style manual examples as closely as possible. Not all sources fit the examples exactly and sometimes bibliographic data are unavailable (e.g., if there is no date, put "n.d.").
