For recording our sales script your voice should sound natural and not commercial. We want the reading to sound like a congenial, every-day voice, like a close friend talking to her girlfriend about something sensitive, in a compassionate way that leaves the listener's dignity intact. Basically the presentation should be read in a conversational tone with a natural emphasis on words. The intention is to keep listeners interested and engaged as well as to follow narrator. There will be a call to action at the end. Below you can find some sample phrases which we want you to record and send along with your application. Prior work on similar projects will be considered an advantage. We will provide you with a document in .docx/.doc format (Microsoft Word) for the reading including guidance on which emotion we'd like you to project and which words to emphasize, read slowly or where to pause. We would like the final deliverable in MP3 format, 192 KBps, 44.1khz. Our video production staff will synchronize that with a sales video. Requirements: - You need to be a female British English speaker with a clear voice. - You need to have a very good microphone and absolutely quiet environment to avoid any background noise. Professional recording facilities are a plus but not required. - Acting skills are a must in the sense that you need to be able to project emotions with your voice - If we think you missed the mark on some sentences you have to be willing to re-record them to achieve a satisfying result - we are willing to limit this amount though. - Please note that we will just need the raw recordings. Several takes on some sentences would be ok. All post processing will be done by us. Sample phrases to record: "Now before I begin, let me introduce myself. My name is Melanie Addington and here’s a picture of me and my ex. Why am I showing you this? Because a few days after this picture was taken I got diagnosed with type 2 herpes.
