Which one CNC are you using? I have many CNC : cnc graver 3 axis, cnc foam cutter 4 axis, cnc laser cutter, cnc leather. If you haven't special software with your cnc you can easily yse Mach3 jr Kcam. For drawing detail you can use SolidWorks or Autocad. If you want to work just with 2d then use CorelDraw. There are also some special propgrams for editing gcode. All is quite easy... Good Luck!

I have two certificates in the operation of CNC mills and lathes. I've taught many coworkers and students in the operation of both.

I am a full time CAM/CAD Designer and CNC Operator in South Carolina. If your new to CNC it can be a bit overwhelming, but it's not the end of the world. I operate in Corel Draw Graphic Suite x7 for most design work but when it comes to CNC you may be able to design in your CNC software. I use Vectric V-Carve Pro 8 for my CNC files and my machines run on WinCNC Software. I would be happy to help you out in any way possible to get your operation going.
