We need to brand our small hotel. We are currently renovating a small hotel in a small mining town. The hotel was the first hotel in town and has a huge sentimental and historic value to the town. It was closed down in 2002 and became derelict - little more than a dog's kennel. We are trying to revive it and give it back some of the grandeur of the old building and its sense of history to the town and the local people.
We have opened the accommodation and are now working on setting up a brasserie and gourmet provedore in the old bar areas which can showcase local produce and products for locals and entice tourists. We have painted the building dark purple and light grey and want these colours to be strong in our branding. Once we open the provedore, we hope to create a range of our own products so the logo will need to be suitable for package branding.
We need a logo and font that can reflect our blending of old and new - historic with a bit of funk. I like the design we have at the moment, but it's just not as good as it could be and is probably a bit too old-fashioned. We need to funk it up a bit. I have attached our current logo and pictures of what the place looked like many years ago, what it looked like when we took over and what it looks like now to give you a sense of the building. It needs to be adaptable to set up stationery, product badging, revamp our website and all advertising and marketing.
Hope you can help and thanks in advance.
