I am starting a new business this coming March and I'm searching for an Administrative Assistant whom is a Japanese citizen and fluent in English.
Time Line:
Term 1: (2015/1/29 -- 2015/3/31) Fixed term contract, working 1 day/week (8 hours).
Term 2: (2015/4/1 - ongoing) Regular employment contract working 5 days/week (40 hours).
* I would like to hire an individual that is willing to start working on a fixed contract (Term 1) with the intention to be hired full time at the end of the contract (Term 2).

Job Description:
Term 1: (2015/1/26 -- 2015/3/31)
- The Administrative Assistant will directly assist the CEO with:
o contacting/establishing new relationships with suppliers,
o marketing research and coordination,
o helping to research a location for the initial store front,
o document/lease agreement translations,
o assist with interviewing new employees,
o researching food and safety regulations,
o join meetings to help with interpretations,
o company culture development (Both Japanese and US friendly environment)
Term2: (2015/4/1)
- The Administrative Assistant will directly as well as independently assist the CEO with:
o employee hour scheduling/tracking,
o logistics (fruit and material orders),
o customer support,
o scheduling (meetings, interviews, etc.),
o future growth planning,
o marketing research and coordination,
o company expenditures and book keeping,
o translation and interpretation support
Employee Requirements:
- Fluent with both English and Japanese
- Strong Communicator (Not shy to make calls or answer questions over the phone, call out mistakes as appropriate, etc)
- Willing to be flexible and work through the diverse range of tasks that come with starting a new business.
