PLEASE READ THE CONTENTS BEFORE BIDDING ======================================= For those of you, who bid on my previous project, I apologize for the inconenvience. I request you to reconsider the project. In my previous project I'd asked that the project support various binary formats. I've closed the project, and would like to work on one binary data format at a time. The project is to decode the propreitary format of specific data file that is in binary, and use it to extrapolate the format. The attached file is a sample binary file. The project should work under all test conditions (ie various test data files). This is not your vanilla C/C++ program. You must have hacker skills and must be very patient in reverse engineering. You must be familiar (or have an interest) about big endian/little endian, byte boundaries etc. The software is for a startup with limited budget. But I'm very fair, and being a software engineer myself, know what it entials. After we work on the first format, we can work on other formats on an hourly basis or fixed price. Please quote your hourly price while bidding. I really think the company has excellent potentials. If everything goes well, I'd like to hire the developer. So I'd like the bidder to be an individual, who'd consider working for the company on a full time basis in Sunny California, or if you're a company bidding then would allow to hire your employee on a fee basis. Since I hope to have a long term arrangement with the developer, I'm looking for someone who's trustworthy and reliable, and whose goals are similar to ours. The software requirements are as follows: 1) The software should be developed in GNU C/C++ using sound OO principles and relevant comments 2) All source files developed must have the copyright contents in the stub 'UCSGStub.c' (attached UCSGStub.c) 3) The software must use the encdec package (attached [login to view URL]) 4) The class/routine accepts as input filename, and format (current FORMAT1) and output ASCII file (for now). 5) The data file attached is [login to view URL] Please feel free to ask any questions that'll help you to bid on the project
