Develop a Mac Application

I need a simple Macintosh desktop application written in Xcode. This program will be used on one of my Mac servers and will be designed to run 24x7 preforming some tasks. [Skills Needed] *Xcode *NSURLConnection with https connections & usage of username/password security credentials("htaccess" type username/password will be required by server you are connecting to) * Ability to save files onto the local computer * Ability to execute third party app already installed on computer * Ability to upload files from local computer to a webserver via POST over HTTPS to my webserver. The app needs to when launched execute an NSURLConnection to my webserver and receive instructions. The web server will either tell the application: a) that there is no active project to be worked on, in this case I want your app to sleep for 5 minutes and ask the webserver again (this loop continues until the application is terminated). b) it will give the app a list of instructions. I will go over more details with you when we start the project, but basically it will give you a project ID number and a list of JPG files to be downloaded from our webserver (it will provide the full http path to the image). You will need to create a new folder on the local computer, download the images to that folder, then you will launch another application already on the computer. Once this secondary app is complete there will now be a new file in that folder you just created, this will need to be uploaded back to my webserver via an HTTP POST. Once completed continue in the loop of asking the webserver for more instructions (above). I am an experience web developer, but have limited experience in the desktop world of programming. My assumption is for someone skilled in Xcode this project shouldn't take more than an afternoon of coding. I will need to verify the application works as required prior to payment and I also will require full source code/project files after the completion of this job (after payment of course). Lastly I will need some tweaks and add-ons to this app in the future and we can negotiate a payment structure for those changes at that time.
