I have done similar projects in my full time job, But, I am having lot of questions, please clarify those: - Would you provide the whole development environment? a) Actual hardware, Cross compiler, and architecture of you embeded processor, like, will it support virtual memory, what is the size of the memory, how load the image, how to compile the image or you have anyl environment to your hardware like emulator. b) can we run on any linux machine, if so, full documentaiont c) List of bugs that currently open and list of bugs that went on recently, I wanted to rule out any regression bug due to old issues. d) Do you have any regression script to automate the testing? So that, I can look into the issues, rather concentrating on basic things, would you help me on basic setup and answer above queries, then consider bid. Please note i believe without understanding the exact project requirement, it is very difficult to predict the project nature. Since you requested for quotation per hour, i would like to understand you expectation on number hours per week, At max, i can work weekly 10 hrs, would it be fine for you, but during any critical release time, you can expect my participation. I have also got experience in writing netlink kernel modules over Open WRT. I have a good setup of Open WRT build environment and testbed. Also, I have some understanding on wifi protocol also. well the problem statement is not very clear to me..but yes i have worked on L2 and L3 layer protocol on linux. my past experience was to develop a stack wise switch(search Cisco stack wise). I have designed and developed a single L3 routing entity and propriety L1 communication protocol to communicate multiple L2 switches. similar to SDN and open flow.

Additionally, I have experience working in networking in one of the big company in the world. Surely I can help you, the only issue I see on this is that it is better when I have the device with me. But, we can work remotely and in simultaneous so you can reset and check the device when it is needed.
