Autocompleted Matching Phrase Becomes Bold with CSS

Hello!

Using jQuery code that I have already started (which does NOT use jQuery Autocomplete because of the way future DIVs will be placed in different locations of the page for results), I would like you to edit the jQuery that I use to show/hide DIVs based on a user input so that it can get the following behavior:

- I would like the text that is input into the search box to be given a CSS class that I can style later

Here is the case-insensitive code that I have working and that I need edited, which shows/hides DIVs that have text that matches the search input (type the word "bunny" or "bUNNy"):

What I need are jQuery edits to the code above, which will style the letter/phrase the user types (so the letter "b" then the phrase "bu" then the phrase "bun" then the phrase "bunn" then the phrase "bunny" become bold). A match to what the user types should become bold. Similar to how jQuery Autocomplete does it, like in this demo when a user types "java" (not my code, and not to be used for editing):

I do NOT need a style for mouseover, like in the above demo, just a style for bold (which I can edit later, etc.). Do you think that you can do this? Please let me know... it seems simple for a jQuery developer like you!
