The work involves copy typing approx.800 pages from a number of 17th century English volumes. These have been scanned to provide images of the pages at 600 dpi in pdf format. OCR software does not help with the text as it's the old style script and the inconsistencies make this unreliable. The words are perfectly readable but to someone unused to the old script and spelling it will take a little time to familiarise oneself with it. We require the text on a computer in a wordprocessor format (Framemaker 7.0 would be great or also MS Word for Windows) for later typesetting. A sample page(in a word document) is attached that is typical of the text and spelling to be expected(the pdf document can be enlarged for larger text and viewing during copywriting). Where there might be difficulties in the recognition of the peculiarites of the old fonts used, and in determining what words are the more 'modern equivalents', I will be glad to assist along the way and help elucidate.

As this requires typing we would really like the spelling be updated in the process. This can be discussed if proven too difficult.
