I've taught and practiced applied statistics for the last 12 years full-time and am currently in grad school working towards my PhD in it. I can do this for you. I'm glad to see your say 'if possible'. Sounds like you already know that just because you want there to be a relationship doesn't mean there is one, or if there is one, doesn't mean it can be found. Noise can obsure it if there isn't a big enough data set, etc. We sure can give it the 'ol college try though and do the best we can! Feel free to reply with any questions you have. If you award this within the next 5-6 days I can jump on it right away. If you wait until the end of June I won't be able to start until Mid July. I'll probably do it in Minitab or SAS, maybe R. Depends what the data looks like. If it's not too big I may just start in Excel and use a more sophisticated tool only if needed. Bill

Hello! In order to give you a more accurate quotation it would be good to have a look at a sample of your data. My experience in biostats comes from the time of my university degree: I graduated discussing a thesis on the impact of different agricultural techniques on the growth of tree plantations. Since then I am mainly devoted to economic/financial issues, but I still am involved in basic statistical analysis, which I perform by mean of Excel. Back to your project: it is difficult to predict what the time needed will be, unless you give me more information. In case you are willing to send me the set of your data (even a partial one), I would be glad to submit you a first sample of my job free of charge, in order to better discuss either the way of doing the job and the whole price.
