Analyze some Data II

To learn engineering/statistical techniques to design robust processes, which are minimally affected by external sources of variability. To be proficient in implementing the problem solving procedures for large scale problems using computer spreadsheets, EXCEL spreadsheet, in particular. To learn how to design and conduct experiments, and analyze the resulting data to derive optimal process parameters. To experience firsthand how the theory applies to real world problems through a group project from local industry or research laboratory, and to exercise skills for working in a group and communicating the project findings to the class through a formal presentation.
