Arduino angle and distance controller

Arduino code to controle 2 axis linear drives and measure distance on one and angle on the other with a simple digital display readout. x axis. up and down schould be controlled by a linear variable resistor with zero in the middle. moving the resistor fully upp or down achould move the drive fast. moving it only a little equals slow movement of course. The distance from zero schould be displaid on a digital display. y Axis. angle. should follow the same mechanism only with a rotary variable resistor that automatically returns to zero. the angle schould read out on a digital display with 2 desimals 0,00 Axis will have skrew drives, so stepper motors or dc motors are ok.
