I need to design an electronic voting system for an event where we will present approx. 40 different products at an exhibition (two locations of twenty products in a row) and when a product gets a like, (i.e. the user presses a physical analogue / digital button behind the product they like) this press needs to be recorded - ideally into a database that I will host on the internet. (I will have the database system set up to record the press events) and I will also be providing an HD display connected to a solid-state pc that will be pulling down the total presses from the database and displaying them in a leaderboard on screen ( I have the tech available for the screen and leaderboard part of this project) Note the database will aggregate the results and put them in order before I pull them down to display the leaderboard / order of likes. I want to identify the easiest and most cost effective way of doing this. I have looked at the electric imp and thought these would be ideal for the task, but as I have not used them before I want someone who has used them before and can offer additional options / designs. I need to identify not only the components required but also the best effective way to perform this task before purchasing any kit.

I can do your project, but you will need some hardware, i will send you code + all circuit schematics and USB software Programs... I will configure your system using screen sharing tools... 1:You will need Raspberry Pi, Raspberry (35$) is single board computer so later you can use for own other purposes as well because it run on Linux Operating system.. 2. Need to know more for clear idea. We have experience of data sending to the server and then displaying it on application.
