I would like for an application to be developed which has the following capabilities.
1. Take via verbal input a daily log of activities on a construction site.
2. Input and of budget per line item and subsequent completion tracking against the budgeted line items. Graphic outputs of this would also be appreciated.
3. Change order request tracking. This includes documentation of the change as well as logging both contractor and cognizant inspector/engineer signature.
4. Material use tracking against bid quantities
5. Input for specifications and document searching
6. Easy call up of drawing details and ability to redline drawing in the field. This could be accomplished through any means but potentially through the use of a connection or link to the autodesk mobile platform.
7. Ability to take and geo-reference photos
8. Allow for archiving at the completion of the project
The developer will need to come up with a unique interface which includes a splash screen with the company name. The developer may also advertise their own company on the splash screen. The application will need to be compatible with the google play store and available for use on the chrome operating system. Integration with the google suite of products is encouraged and appreciated.
I am open to discussing all aspects of this project. However, there are some certain items that I have a vision for as is. For instance, I have a format for the change order request and tracking that I will share after award.
I do not anticipate any in application purchases or need for an in app store. However, I am open if the developer has ideas.
I will be conducting sealed bidding and the more detailed description you provide the better. Also, please include at least two sample apps that can be reviewed as a pre-screen. I look forward to your proposals. Thank you for reviewing.
