It will be a Windows window where you will just have to select the file to treat . 2 The macro will make this grouping process and generate a new file with the results. Hello, I reviewed the three files you attached and the reformatting of 'messy' data can be done through excel macros. The system would basically work like this: 1. It will import the messy data 2. Do the transformation to the two formats 3. Generate the output files. All this would be done on click of a button so it will be very intuitive for the end user. The macro will be flexible enough to automatically adjust for varying number of rows in the input data. To be able to create such a macro, I will need from your side some sample data filled in both the PDF and the Excel output files.
