Create an Excel Macro to convert string text into formulas

I need a simple macro written to help us convert a string of text into a formula. For example, I have the following string of text in cell B1: 'S:\POSITION DASHBOARD\_ARCHIVE\[[login to view URL]]Positions'!C42 and I need this converted and treated as a formula: ='S:\POSITION DASHBOARD\_ARCHIVE\[[login to view URL]]Positions'!C42 We have tens of thousands of rows of data like this, so normal functions, such as INDIRECT, are too cumbersome to use and crash our systems. We will need a macro to go in and insert that first '=' sign and convert the cell to a formula. We would like to run this macro in different files, and would like the macro to run on highlighted cells. Thanks!
