Every evening Little Fox secretly runs away from its home, and its parents, and every evening those same parents are acting like they do not know about it. For there is a good reason that they keep that knowledge a secret, as well as there is a reason why the Little Fox is running away. The story of the Little Fox begins some time ago, when the Little Fox met an unusual, but quite creative little owl. The owls name was Hans - Tin, which Little Fox consider to be a bit unusual. I actually have written no children's books so far, but every author has to start some place, and here's why you simply have GOT to give me a shot at this: - I have three kids: 8,5 and 2 years old. I'm not a native English speaker, but my wife's a foreigner and we speak English at home. - My kids love to hear my original stories so they ask me to make up stuff instead of reading to them. - It started with a joke I told them at bed time, but they asked me to keep going after the punch line. 2 years later, every few nights I'm making up stuff on my feet until their mother drags me out of their bedroom because apparently I'm supposed to make them sleep, not laugh. - I would love it if I get published and I can actually give the printed book to my own kids. I'd also like to submit a sample, but I don't have any non-fiction written and you supplied no subject. Here's some fiction, titled The Duck Takeover: Anna lived on a farm with her family. One morning, she woke up and went downstairs for breakfast. Instead of her mother preparing breakfast, it was one of the ducks that lived in her farm. Anna was very surprised that a duck was making toast for her. “Mommy, where are you?” she called. The duck responded, “She hasn’t woken yet. I’m cooking your breakfast, and I’ll drive you to school as well. Ducks shouldn’t be driving cars, Anna thought. It didn’t even occur to her that ducks shouldn’t be talking, either. She sat down and started eating a toast that the duck put on her plate.

Story about the Night It was a sunny day. The day was endless, and all the animals were having fun, jumping, running and playing games. Nobody argued, nobody had enemies. The foxes were helping the rabbits. The lions were helping the zebras. But there was one Creature, whose existence was breaking the idyll. Once it was approaching, all other animals were running away. But that creature was not evil. It only wanted to make friends with others. But this Creature had one strange skill: it was filling with darkness all the space around it. So, the Creature decided not to scare others animals. It decided to hide from everyone. But once, in a deep deep thicket the Creature met strange animals, which haven’t ran away in fear, meeting it. Moreover, they were scattering the darkness around the Creature. It met the fireflies. Having seen, that their guest is very sad, the fireflies started to ask, what happened. And when they heard the Creature’s story, they decided to help it. The surrounded the Creature, and this strange company went back to all other animals to play with them. Nobody was scared, because not darkness but light was filling the space around the creature. Everybody were happy. But the fireflies need a rest. That’s why they decided, that while they are helping the strange creature not to scare everybody – it is the Day. But when the fireflies go to sleep – comes the night, fIling everything around with darkness.
