15 months ago i was told that my father was not my real father. I am 53 years old so you can imagine the shock and despair i felt. I began a search to find my biological father which took 15 months of hard slog and an absolute roller coaster of emotions.
I finally located him after I received an anonymous tip and tracked him in North Queensland. I actually have just returned from Proserpine where I met my biological father and half brother. It was an amazing meeting, I couldn't have asked for a better result. A DNA was done and the result was 99.99683% positive so there is no doubt he is my father.
My physiologist suggested I start writing down how I feel in a journal as things came up but I found that over the last 15 months I have written quite a lot about the initial news, the search, members of my family, how I have felt and the outcome
My story still has a lot more to go as i was originally planning to travel to Malta to continue my search however now that I have found him my trip to Malta will have a different meaning as I will be able to meet family and see the family home were my biological father grew up.
What I really need is someone that can help me plan it and write the story properly with the information I have.
