I'm looking for a great writer to help me write a chapter on insurance for my travel hacking book. The book is a guide to traveling, living nomadically, and getting the best deals on all travel expenses.
This chapter is specifically about Insurance. It needs to explain what types of insurances a person traveling or living nomadic needs and the benefits of each type.
If someone is traveling - why would they need travel insurance and how can they leverage the benefits in case of a disaster?
What kind of medical insurance does a person need that lives nomadically or travels for most of the year? (Maybe someone has primary medical coverage, but has a emergency on a trip and can use their travel insurance to cover the expenses since the travel insurance has a low deductible - like $50 vs the med insurance deductible of $5000)
How can business insurance - professional liability and general liability help protect a traveling business owner?
How can your home insurance provide coverage for your valuables while you are traveling - for example if you are traveling and your belongings are stolen - can you use your home insurance to get coverage for all that you lost (and what kind of deductable is there)?
If you choose to rent out your own home - what kind of insurance policies will cover your tenants? For example - most home insurance policies do NOT cover short term renters because of the high risk involved. So all hosts need to purchase additional coverage from companies like CBIZ or Proper. Look into that and get information about the coverage and typical cost estimate.
So far, I have voice recorded some of my own ideas about insurance and have had them transcribed - this is very informal - and I am missing a lot of good technical information on insurance in general - so I am looking to have the entire chapter ghost written, but potentially take some of my ideas from my transcription.
Hi, Thank you once again for the opportunity. I'd love to write this chapter. I do have several ideas and would start with creating an outline. Excited to get started. Cheers!
