Seeking an experienced grant writer with successes with receiving funding. A grant is due October 12th for a foundation that focuses on women and children. I've already submitted the profile of our organization and amount that we can ask for (10% of our budget) $2,500. The grant cannot go beyond 2 pages. I prefer that after each question is completed that it be emailed to me for review. I have not received funding the last two years from this organization and feel outside help will be a benefit. My organization, somewhat new, leads two classes in the county jail to help reduce recidivism. We work with many in jail who have a substance abuse issue. If we receive funding, it will help toward basic operational costs such as rent, insurance and to pay class leaders. I also plan an annual PTSD/Trauma Seminar where professionals attend to receive CEU's.
