SY will primarily sell gourmet chocolates, essential oils and herbs, and handcrafted ice cream. Other offerings will include handcrafted soaps and lotions, tea, and chocolate drinks. Products sold within the store will be sourced from American companies such as dōTerra (oils), Mountain Rose Herbs (herbs & oils), G. Debbas (chocolate), and products from well-known retailers within the health and wellness industry. SY plans to primarly begin selling at Farmers Markets and create a client base and eventually in several years sell directly to consumers from an 800 to 1,000 square-foot storefront within Old Town Clovis, a country-styled downtown plaza located in the Fresno-Clovis area. SY will differentiate itself by selling toxic-free essential oils; organic and fair-trade herbs and spices; and organic and fair-trade, artisan chocolates. The store’s most compelling offering will be a proprietary brand of ice creams and chocolates infused with either essential oils, herbs, or Port wine. SY will be the only retailer in the Fresno-Clovis area to carry Mountain Rose Herbs and the only dōTerra retailer in Clovis. In addition, they will be the exclusive dealer of G. Debbas chocolates. The shop will provide value to its local consumers by selling a brand of healthier confectionary as well as alternative medicinal aids without leaving the comforts of Clovis. “Clovis‒a way of life” has long been the city’s slogan; The SY is focused on making Clovis’ way of life a little healthier one customer at a time.
