design or recreate logo for website

I am looking for somebody to redesign a logo that I created. It is for a financial information website called economicalcents.com. I would like to see some sample works and some suggestions prior to selecting a designer. Currently I have a picture of a 10 cent (US dime) that I illuminated the brain to make it look like the president that is on the 10 cent has an idea, so I used photoshop to illuminate the brain. I would like some ideas: -whether the cent is to big - if their is a simpler way to get the idea of "sense" across through the logo. such as a light bulb turning on - The idea is the site should help people make economical "sense" so I am looking for an ingenius way to get the message across. -the colors of the logo should be more simple only using two or three colors. I am going to be changing the color on the site to a mixture of light blue's and blacks (similar to the colors on freelancer.com) so I would like the logo to fit in with that color scheme. I will upload a picture of what I did so please write me first with previous work and your idea for adjustments to the logo. I would like a logo with the name economicalcents with it somewhere. I am open for ideas so please communicate those to me.
