Changes to logo - side of text

Hi, I have a logo that was made for me. I require some changes to it. See attached NSS1.jpg. It has a honeycomb effect over the lettering, but it does not wrap around the sides of all the letters. I want it to wrap around the letter, as though it was a mesh effect. You will see the letter 'N' it DOES wrap correctly on two sides, but as you will also see it does not cover the bottom of the letter. I also need this to be consistently wrapped-around the letter. Also the same consistent effect on the letter S. I don't know how to this in illustrator. I will remove the orange dots and supply the file in illustrator / eps format. Hope you can help
