We are looking for someone to upload the background image for our website so that it will re-size to fit all browsers. Currently we have been advised by the website developer that the resolution should be 2000x2000. However, banners are not being fully displayed on smaller screens and this doesn't fulfill our requirement which is to have the background image re-size accordingly to the web browser size it is being viewed on.

The only true responsive format is SVG, which is resolution independent. But with some clever CSS + JavaScript techniques PNG can also work well. If you can provide more details I can provide further assistance.
