Hello, I just read your description and your project sounds very interesting. I would love to take part of it. I know nike has some interface for selecting custom made products, but I can't check the details at the moment because there seems to be some problem with loading their website from my location. I will try it again later. From what I recall of their feature, their snickers have the customizable parts split and then you can select something of the provided options and create your custom pair. What first comes to my mind is using svg images and redrawing each part based on the customer's selection. Angular JS would be a perfect fit for that part, as it's completely client oriented and the loading time of the new colors will be insignificant. With Angular JS we can go for the perfect user experience and create a nice interactive tool. I would need more details to be able to provide estimations and give more specifics of how we plan to implement it. Important thing to know is what types of products you plan to sell and if all of them should be customizable. For the e-commerce part, we will use a php based framework - either Laravel (if you need more specific website) or Magento (if the requirements are more general).
