I am looking at creating a website for my business. The website will need to be able to do the following: a. Pages are easy to be scrolled. b. Information can easily be viewed should the customer decide that they want to know more about the project such as specifications, reference pictures and prices c. Website should be able to take orders online d. Website should be able to also capture the database of customers e. There should also be a function on the website that allows me to look at the statistics and probably print out reports that will give me information such as number of views, number of orders, number of requests, etc f. The website should be easily scalable such as adding additional pages and items or even different business lines. g. The website needs to be easy to manage such as adding new products and images. h. Freelancer needs to highlight in their description to me what kind of website design they will use for me meaning such as WIX, joomla, wordpress etc. i. There might need to have a domain purchased as well as well as email set ups (but for this we can discuss as we progress during the project) j. With regards to the project duration i would like Freelancer to honestly take the time to do this so that there can be more quality and more communication. k. There are a total of 5-7 products currently. As i will manage the website on my own and i have zero experience in this, it is advisable that the type of website chosen for me needs to be easily understandable and doable for myself. a) ok - I understand that you need easy to navigate website. b) I understand that you need the ability to have listing and then detail pages for the products for complete review of customers. c) I want to know whcih types of products you will sell.. From ordering, I understand that you need a cart for your website. d) I am clear on customer database.. We will store all information in database and will give you a way to look back through admin. e)We can use SEO and Statistic plugins for your site. We will give you a reports section for tihs purpose in admin. f) The website will be based on a CMS, so you will haev the ability to add up pages as required. g) Understood on this as per point f. h) We will do it in wordpress+woocommerce, since not many products. i) You will have to create domain yourself, as payment in future will be required for the domain. Hi. Please read completely it is not generalized bid. I have read your project detail and I do understand your all concerns. Lets start from CMS. I suggest wordpress for you since you have mentioned that you have no experience of managing website by yourself. Wordpress is easy to use and you will be able to add new products and pages in your website after completion. There is another option i.e. development from scratch which is much better than wordpress but that will be very costly because we will have to code each and everything manually. If price is not your concern then we can do it with custom work. I dont have any specific question (your description is clear) but I need to know some details about your concern regarding "email set ups". What are you referring to ?
