In this graphic I chose to represent a bumble bee. With an easy shape of a bee with gradient tool I applied the effect and for the wings also I applied gradient tool and then copied the wing and pasted it in the back thereby completing the bee. As for the title of the book I blended a simple shape with only stroke and fill thereby creating the stunning effect. At last I imagined the title of the book as My bumble bee book with plain text.

I have 30 years of illustration and design experience and in the illustration of children’s books. I am also a caricaturist of 12 years. I have had several children’s books published in the past 2 years with my illustrations. I work in many formats from hand-drawn (colored pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc.) to digital formats and styles from realistic to cartoony. I understand the personal connection one has when writing these kinds of books and will work with you to bring your ideas to a visual reality. I would take your ideas and create preliminary sketches for your approval. Changes and alterations can be done at this time and once approved, I would create the final layout/illustrations and save in a print-ready format for publication. You don't mention how many illustrations you need so it's hard to give an accurate bid. I like to be fairly compensated for my work just like everyone but don’t take my years of experience to mean expensive. I do this for the love of the art and to see others, like yourself, get their work published and am flexible in how I am paid. I placed a high bid but I can work hourly, per illustration or for a flat fee and if chosen, I will work with you for the best solution for both.
